Into the Dark... Live Music photography from yesteryear.

Blame it on the Sex

Cylinder Psychosis

Hood Internet

Grooveyard

Farallon

Believe it or not, there was a time I wasn't chasing down girls in clubs for shots of their panties, bras, and the occasional groping of their best friend... but that was a long time ago :)
I present to you... the best of my live music collection. The nostalgia is almost unbearable, so you can count on me adding to these very soon.

[Nightlife]Grooveyard

One of the best bands I've had the pleasure of photographing. These guys brought it hard and really know how to put on a show. If there's one thing that really irked me about live band photography... it's that some of those guys just fucking stand there... makes for real lousy images, let me tell you. I mean how the fuck do you expect to move the crowd if you can't even move to your own groove... yard. Bad pun.

[Nightlife]6 Days to Farallon...

Farallon... formerly known as 6 Days to Nowhere. The group, from what I hear is no longer together, and it kinda depresses me. These guys helped me out a lot during my early photography, showing a lot of potential. They even had radio time. I mean, any band whose guitarist can play with a vibrator is alright in my book. Now, if only they recorded and distributed "Serrated Eyes" like I told them to...

[Nightlife]DNA Lounging with Hood Internet

Fucking awesome show... as if the Tranny wasn't an obvious tell. Not that that's weird or anything. I'll tell you what is though... My first show with the Hood Internet was actually at a sorority party at a little place called Stanford University. To be honest I didn't think much of it at the time, but holy shit did these guys blow up. Not two or three months later AR Media CFO informs me these guys are doing shows all over the world. It's not surprising at all, the Hood Internet are without doubt a couple of best mash-up artists around. Toes done up with their finger nails matching ;P

Our craziest yet... complete with Fire Dancers, Sexy Clowns, and oh yes... Police.
But hey, they say you ain't doin' something right till the cops show up

That last one of IV House Mafia(Grafenberg/Sh.knopps) was actually taken by Cynthia G. but it's such a great shot, it deserves its place here at Almost Realism.
