Elbo Room with MJ's Brass Boppers and Zinc Finger

Funksgiving Celebrations at the Red Devil Lounge

San Francisco's Red Devil Lounge was hotter than ever the Friday after Thanksgiving. If you weren't there(shame...) you missed out on a wicked funky and fiery lake of music and BOOTY.

Booty.

Featuring a couple of local favorites, the Funksgiving celebration opened up with I Can Dress Myself. The energy they bring to the stage with their ecclectic performance is both inspiring and infectious.

Planet Booty closed the night to help you shake off any extra gravy, (and show us how its done!) They provide a fresh mix of saucy and swingin' that answers the question...

"Who wants more turkey?!"

Tee Time!

A portrait illustration made back in late September. A special thanks to model talent Ashley S., Make Up/Hair Stylist - Gina R., and photo assistant Dan B. If you like what you see, check out my Model Mayhem page here.

DJ Eliki At Temple SF

Eliki spun a set for Temple on Howard St. in San Francisco this Saturday. By far one of the best venues in the city, and the line up for the evening was equally amazing. Among the other performers were Djunya, Roommate, and Leafy Green. I didn't stay the whole evening nor did I take a comprehensive set of photos for the event, but here are some goodies...

And a couple new friends...
Although I don't remember their names...

Except for Emily.

There's a couple more on the flickr page.

AAU Concept Projects Field Trip

Also last Saturday, our class had a field trip to the south east end of Point Reyes(or something like that...)

Two trails separated the beach and a tour of the forested coastline. I followed the instructor to the beach.

Boss Wass
This is Joe.

Shine Lounge SF

A friend of mine played a most stellar performance at Shine Lounge last Saturday.

DJ Eliki of Opulent Temple.

Check out how the rest of the evening panned out...

Yup. Rocked it. Check those get-away-sticks.

I'd drink to 'em

Find the rest on the flickr page.

Authentique CD Release Party

The musical group affectionately named 'Tim Vance' had a CD release party last Wednesday in Sun Shine Coast, a local head shop on lower Haight(SF).

Did you remember to grab one?

Who am I kidding, one of these has probably been in your CD player since the release.

I wasn't the official photographer or anything, but I took this as an opportunity to test out my new camera.
